Candice represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies in all facets of commercial litigation. She has experience in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, and has arbitrated cases before JAMS and AAA. Prior to joining Keker, Van Nest & Peters, Candice served as a law clerk to Judge Allyson K. Duncan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Judge Richard F. Boulware, II of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. She was formerly an associate with a large firm in New York.
Candice maintains an active pro bono practice. Currently, she is suing the state of Georgia seeking to enjoin its racially discriminatory voting laws. Candice also regularly represents asylum seekers and indigent criminal defendants. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN), and GenUnity, a civic engagement non-profit.
Fiercely dedicated to diversity and inclusion, Candice was selected as a 2021 Pathfinder through the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
